Upon completion of this program, you will be able to:
- Describe why 'willpower' is not enough to make lasting habit changes.
- Describe the role of the rational mind, emotional mind, and environment in the development of new habits.
- Identify 6 areas of influence that can support a client's efforts to create new health habits.
- Partner with clients to co-create a plan for supporting new goals with environmental supports in the 6 areas of influence.
The course provides a workbook for taking notes and an option to watch the lesson with a slide presentation or listen to the lessons via audio download. There is a bonus worksheet available at the end of the course that you can use with your clients to walk them through setting up their own plan for success.
